Welcome to meetJ. This website is part of the work of Chatnow we are a UK based Christian registered charity. Chatnow provides people with the opportunity to chat live, anonymously and privately with one of our Christian volunteers, at any time of day or night. We aim to provide spiritual hope based on the teachings of the Bible. We are here to help those in need, those with questions, fears and worries. We are here to assist people who are feeling lost, addicted, sad, confused and in pain – to help them find a new hope and a new purpose. We care and want the best for each person as an individual – we don’t ever want anyone to think they had nobody to talk to, nobody who cared, nobody who would listen, nobody who would help them find hope.
The conversation we offer is with a real person whatever the time of day or night. If you do not get through to someone straight away then it will probably be because our volunteers are already helping other people and can’t take another conversation. Please feel free to come back later or send an email to us instead.
We are not a professional counselling service but do provide Christian help and hope. We base all of our beliefs on the teachings of the Bible, we believe that true peace is found in knowing peace with God. Jesus said that He came to bring us life – life to the full. We believe in the importance of church where people can become part of a spiritual family and worship Jesus and learn more about Him.
The main purpose of the meetJ website is to help you meet Jesus for yourself, directly, first hand and to help you discover how much Jesus cares about you and wants to help you know Him.
There are many different English translations of the Bible and on the website we have always used The New Living Translation.
